Captain Wise has given numerous presentations bringing to life many exciting episodes contained in his books. In addition, to what's written, he offers interesting additional stories about the individuals he writes about, especially the movie stars who served in the military, James Arness ( Matt Dillion of "Gunsmoke"), the German U-boat war in the Atlantic during World War II as told to him by a former German U-boat Watch Officer, and other seldom known naval yarns. He has appeared on A&E Biography, Fox News Alive, Fox TV "War Stories," and numerous radio interview programs including National Public Radio (NPR).
